Updated: Hunt group says it’s newest plan to take over Oncor could save customers more than $500 million by 2021
A plan to restructure the state’s largest utility company could save electricity customers hundreds of millions of dollars, the group trying to buy Oncor said Friday.
But critics of the plan say it doesn’t balance a much larger potential tax-related windfall that could boost profits of the restructured company by about $250 million a year.
