–Cooler temperatures drove down retail sales of electricity in the Southeast compared to September 2010.
–Fossil steam generation decreased in much of the United States, except in the ERCOT portion of Texas where total generation increased from September, 2010.
–Bituminous coal stocks dropped 18% from September 2010.
