US FERC orders grid operator to change interconnection requirements

n a decision affecting the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s interconnection process, the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has ordered the grid operator to change its rules so that all classes of interconnection customers are required to make a key payment.
